Alexa Fermeglia’s work describes the expressive qualities of the human body and the natural world, drawing inspiration from vintage print media, portrait photography, and mythology. She graduated with a degree in Art Education in 2013, and found a passion in travel, especially through Middle Europe, leading her to study painting and printmaking in Hungary and Czechia. Represented in group shows and solo shows since 2015, her work has also been published in literary magazines The Helix, The Inklette, and Panel Magazine. She was a recipient of a jury prize in the Walter Koschatzky Kunst-Preis in May 2019.
