Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad is a Sydney artist, poet, and improv pianist. She holds a Masters degree in English. Oormila has been painting and exhibiting for the past twenty years, and her paintings can be found in many private collections. Her recent works have been published in Ghost City Review, Sandpiper, Dwell Time, and are forthcoming in Star 82 Review, Leopardskin and Limes and elsewhere. She regularly performs her poetry and exhibits her paintings in Sydney.
