This 6″ x 10″ piece is from a new series of mixed-media collages, The Places You Will Go, created during the pandemic and based on remembered scenes, seen through the framework of windows. Materials used are gouache, acrylics, inks, oil pastels, wool, and lace bits.

Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad is an Indian-Australian artist, poet, and pianist. She holds a Masters in English and is a member of the North Shore Poetry Project. Her art and poetry have been widely published in both print and online literary journals and anthologies, and her recent artworks have been showcased in Star 82 Review, Club Plum, 3 AM Magazine, and The Amsterdam Quarterly Review. She has work forthcoming in Parentheses Journal, The Winnow, Pithead Chapel, and elsewhere. She co-edits the Australian literary journal Authora Australis.
