Artist Statement: The unpredictability of mixed media collage creates vibrancy and tension. This is an experimental piece featuring peony petals that are pressed on paper and painted, then photographed and digitally altered. Not quite sure what to call this process that incorporates collage, painting and photography. This is part of a series.
